AR-15 Fundamentals 1 - Getting Started

Our AR-15 Fundamentals curriculum is broken into 3 courses.

• AR-15 Fundamentals 1 - Getting Started
• AR-15 Fundamentals 2 - Shooting Basics
• AR-15 Fundamentals 3 - Practical & Cognitive Drills

AR-15 Fundamentals 1 - Getting Started is a 4-hour course covering the history and popularity of the AR-15, as well as the loading, unloading, clearing, maintenance and cleaning of the rifle. We'll discuss purchasing an AR-15, accessorizing it & the support gear recommended.

This course requires NO EXPERIENCE and you do NOT NEED TO OWN an AR-15! SAFE Firearms Training has rifles to use in class at no additional cost. This course is designed to be a true beginners class for anyone interested in learning more about the most popular rifle in our country.

The class material for the AR-15 Fundamentals curriculum is derived from the USCCA's "AR-15 Fundamentals" book. This book will be available for purchase in class. If you'd like a copy prior to class, purchase the book and choose a shipping option.

A Firearm Safety Training Certificate will be issued to each student at the successful completion of the course.

If you have questions, please speak with the instructor PRIOR to registering. No refunds will be offered. 

If you cannot attend the registered class, a credit will be offered for a future class, good for 6-months from original class date.

All students will be required to electronically sign a waiver & hold harmless agreement before class releasing Donald K. Miller II, SAFE Firearms Training, LLC and Seitzland Rifle Club of any responsibility during and/or after the class. SAFE Firearms Training, LLC does carry instructor liability insurance for any issues that arise during the class.
