Our AR-15 Fundamentals curriculum is broken into 3 courses.
- AR-15 Fundamentals 1 - Getting Started
- AR-15 Fundamentals 2 - Shooting Basics
- AR-15 Fundamentals 3 - Practical & Cognitive Drills
AR-15 Fundamentals 2 - Shooting Basics is a 4+hour course covering the manual of arms of the rifle. We'll learn to manipulate the rifle in both dry-fire and live-fire drills.
This course requires completion of AR-15 Fundamentals 1 - Getting Started. You must provide your own rifle or SAFE Firearms Training has rifles for rent. Do you need to rent a rifle or purchase ammunition for the class? CLICK HERE.
All rifles MUST be equipped with a 2-point sling and sighting system. A rifle mounted reflex sight such as a Holosun 403B or AEMS is recommended, but iron sights or LPVO (Low Power Variable Optic) is acceptable.
The class material for the AR-15 Fundamentals curriculum is derived from the USCCA's "AR-15 Fundamentals" book. This book will be available for purchase in class. If you'd like a copy prior to class, purchase the book and choose a shipping option.
A Firearm Safety Training Certificate will be issued to each student at the successful completion of the course.
If you have questions, please speak with the instructor PRIOR to registering. No refunds will be offered.
If you cannot attend the registered class, a credit will be offered for a future class, good for 6-months from original class date.
All students will be required to electronically sign a waiver & hold harmless agreement before class releasing Donald K. Miller II, SAFE Firearms Training, LLC and Seitzland Rifle Club of any responsibility during and/or after the class. SAFE Firearms Training, LLC does carry instructor liability insurance for any issues that arise during the class.
Class is taught at our range partner in New Freedom, PA.
